The Kelly Clark Foundation, a non-profit organization, was established by the family of Kelly Clark, whose vibrant young life was ended at the age of thirty. The foundation's goal was to provide a place, Kelly's Place, for cancer patients and their families to stay while undergoing treatment. Annually, some 4,000 cancer patients and their families travel significant distances to Cincinnati for treatment. While Kelly herself was undergoing treatment, Kelly's family met many such patients and their families, many of whom would travel hundreds of miles round trip every day; some resorted to sleeping in their cars.

The American Cancer Society has also recognized the needs of these patients and their families. As the Kelly Clark Foundation was being established, ACS was in the process of planning and developing the Hope Lodge to provide cost-free accommodations to cancer patients and their care-givers who must travel to Cincinnati to receive cancer treatment. The Kelly Clark Foundation has joined with ACS to meet the accommodation needs of these cancer patients and their families. Kelly's Place is now a wing of the Hope Lodge, which is located in close proximity to Cincinnati's primary cancer treatment centers.

Kelly's Classic Golf Outing is the Foundation's primary source of funding, which means that your participation in the Kelly's Classic makes Kelly's Place at the Hope Lodge possible. On behalf of the Kelly Clark Foundation and The American Cancer Society we thank you for your support.
